Taking photography classes in junior high, Damon Stout had the opportunity to learn darkroom techniques, lighting, and composition early on. He was also fortunate to travel worldwide with a 35mm Nikon EM while shooting a wide variety of subjects. The transition to digital years later arguably made Damon's photographic work easier as it's a more immediate process, and with Photoshop as a postproduction tool, almost anything's possible.
